About us
Avanzando Juntos empowers Latino entrepreneurs through free, monthly workshops conducted entirely in Spanish. These workshops offer culturally relevant financial and business education, equipping participants with the skills and resources to achieve their financial goals. Expert presenters guide participants through interactive sessions, addressing the specific needs and aspirations of Latino entrepreneurs. While open to all, these workshops are mandatory for loan applicants through the Mi Gente Loan Fund.
$430,000 were provided during COVID-19 to small Latino businesses that did not qualify for federal assistance.
To date, $685,000 in microloans have been provided to Latino entrepreneur. Strong client relationships contributed to a 100% repayment rate
360+ participants attended business workshops to gain knowledge and insights. each lasting 4 hours or more.
Were provided to businesses through individualize mentoring sessions and business planning.
